(KIA) Resistance Members 1940 1945.
The Association of Intelligence & Action Agents
was founded at the end of WW2 (1945) in Brussels
by members of various Resistance groups who
operated mainly in the following fields: military
intelligence, smuggling of Allied personnel to
safety, radio-operators or messengers, guerrilla
warfare.
The Association brings together the survivors
of Belgian clandestine networks, as well as the
widows and orphans of agents executed or died
in deportation.
The plaque is inscribed:
"They gave it all for Belgium to live".
