Belgium: Cap badge of the Royal Cadet School of the Belgian Army.
With the motto: Pro Patria Crescent (Latin: Grow For the Country).
The Belgian Royal Cadet School was a training institute of the Belgian
Army.
Until 1991 the school provided a general and academic education in
a military atmosphere at the level of secondary education in preparation
for the entry tests for the Belgian Royal Military School (the Officer's
Academy). The Cadet School was founded in 1897.
This is an interwar era example of the cap badge.
The genuine examples of the badge are rare as the School recruited
an average number of only 200 Cadets per year.
