Bulgaria WWI Commemorative Medal Rare Type with Letter to German from the Bulgarian Defense Attache

Rare type, 3.60mm thick (the common type is 
2.64mm thick).
With the notification letter that the Bulgarian 
Defense Attache (Lt Colonel B. Harrisanoff) 
sent to the German recipients of the medal, on 
behalf of the Bulgarian King (Tsar) Boris.
The medal was established in 1933 and it was 
awarded to all living participants (military or 
civilians) of the Great War. 
The medal was also awarded to Austrian and 
German soldiers who fought alongside with 
the Bulgarians on the Macedonian front.
