Czechoslovakia: Medal for Service to the 
Homeland. In its box of issue.
On the reverse: "ZA SLUZBU VLASTI" (For 
Service to the Homeland)
The medal was instituted in 1955. 
This is the type issued since 1960 following 
the name change of the country from CSR
(Czechoslovak Republic) to Czechoslovak 
Socialist Republic (CSSR).
It was awarded for meritorious service to the 
State of Czechoslovakia and was suppressed 
in 1990.
This is an early example.
