pin on the reverse.
The 11th KuK Army under the command of Colonel
General Dankl von Krasnik operated on the Italian
Front within the Army Group "Colonel General
Archduke Eugen".
The 11th KuK Army Group took part in the Trentino
Offensive (or Battle of Asiago), a counteroffensive
operation that was launched on May 15, 1916.
The Austro-Hungarian Army managed to brake
through the Italian center and to advance up to the
beginning of the Venetian plain (30km away from
Vicenza).
