maker), right under the pin.
An early superb example of the pre WW1 era, most
likely made at the end of the 19th century (1890).
High quality construction in silver and enamel.
The Order was founded by King Christian V in 1671.
It was amended by King Frederik VI to 5 classes
and a silver cross in 1808.
The Order is awarded to members of the Armed
Forces or to civilians, Danes and foreigners for
conspicuous service.
