France: Medal of the Association for the Support
of the Firefighters Orphans.
Created to honor and aid families of fallen or 
injured firemen.
The Association was established in 1926 by 
Commander Guesnet. 
It is a non-profit organization, placed since its 
establishment under the patronage of the 
President of the French Republic. Its mission is 
to provide aid to orphans and families of firemen 
who died or retired due to injuries caused while 
on duty.
Early example, issued before the introduction 
of dated reverses.
