Mexican Campaign of Emperor Napoleon III  
of France, that resulted to almost 7000 dead 
soldiers for the French, most of them from 
diseases. 
Signed "Barre" (Famous medalist ,1818 - 78), 
hallmarked for silver and maker marked with 
the initial mark of Barre - the Small Anchor. 
On its original, highly decorative ribbon in 
rarely seen rather well preserved condition.
