France North Africa Medal

FRANCE: Commemorative Medal of North 
Africa. 
The medal was established in 1997 for those 
who served in the Operations in the French 
North African Colonies (Algeria, Tunisia and 
Morocco during the years 1952 - 1962), 
including the members of the French Foreign 
Legion.
A rare medal, that lived only 5 years, as it 
was discontinued in 2002 and was 
substituted by the Medal of National 
Recognition.
