FRANCE: North Africa Security and Order 
Operations Commemorative Medal with 
"Tunisie" bar for Service in Tunisia (1952 - 
1962).
The medal was established in 1956 and was 
awarded for 90 days of service in Algeria, 
Tunisia, Morocco, Sahara or Mauritania.
This is the 2nd variant of the medal (that 
was issued since 1958), marked by the Paris 
Mint, signed George Lemaire on the obverse, 
J. Carlier Del. and T. Schvdin Svr. on the 
reverse.
