FRANCE: Paper weight - inkwell in the form of the
famous WW1 French 75 mm Artillery Gun -
Howitzer, with a French Adrian helmet next to it.
The Adrian helmet hides the inkbowl (which is
present).
Manufactured in the 1920-30s, as the M1897 Guns
were still in use by the French forces at the
outbreak of WW2.
The inkwell is typical interwar period item, marked
"Made in France" (the logo was used in the interwar
period), numbered (2006) and signed
by its artist/designer (Ouveb).
