FRANCE - BRITAIN: Amazing set of 8 miniature 
size mounted WW1 medals, in their box of issue. 
From left to right:
- WW1 Valor and Discipline medal. This is of the 
rare pre WW1 version of the medal with bi-facial 
coat of arms. 
- WW1 War Cross 1914-1918 with 4 citations (2 
palms & 2 stars)
- British WW1 War Medal on ribbon for the 
British Distinguished Conduct Medal (the French 
recipient had been awarded the Distinguished 
Conduct Medal which was impossible, due to its 
scarcity, to find as miniature in France and 
replaced it with the War Medal).
- Verdun Medal, of the rare "Prudhomme type" 
with "Verdun" bar.
- WW1 Combatants Cross
- WW1 Victory medal (Morlon type)
- WW1 Commemorative medal
- WW1 Wound Medal
