The Cross was circulated during the "Soldier
Day" that was organized by the French
Parliament on 25-26 Dec. 1915 for the support
of the War Effort.
Obverse: A naked man strangles the Prussian
Eagle.
Inscribed: "Journee du Poilu, 1915" (Soldier
Day, 1915), Le Parlament (The Parliament)
Reverse: The Coat of Arms of Paris.
