FRANCE: WW1 Commemorative medal for the
1918 Battle of St Mihiel Secleur, where the US
1st Army under the command of General John J.
Pershing broke the German resistance and
captured nearly 14.000 PoW, opening thus the
pave towards the end of the War.
This is the rare French 1st version of the medal,
signed "F. FRAISSE“, maker marked by the Paris
Mint and marked ”BR” (for bronze) on the rim.
