FRANCE: Miniature of the WW2 Commemo-
rative medal, with the clasps "France" and 
"Germany". 
The clasp "France" was issued for the opera-
tions of the period 3 Sep. 1939 - 25 Jun. 1940.
The clasp "Germany" was issued for the ope-
rations of the period 14 Sep. 1944 - 8 May 
1945.
The medal was instituted in 1946 and was 
awarded to the members of the French Armed 
Forces who participated in the War between 3 
Sept. 1939 and 8 May 1945.
