Medal for Firemen. 
Gold class, in silver gilt.
The medal was instituted in 1900, to be issued 
for long service and good conduct. 
It was also awarded for exceptional service or 
acts of courage. 
The issuance of the gold medal required 35 
years of service (or 30 in case of honorary 
retirement). 
This is the 3rd version of the medal that was 
awarded since 1935. 
Signed by L. Bazor and hallmarked "2" by the 
Paris Mint for silver purity.
