France WWII Deportation and Internment Medal with Interne Clasp for Internees by Arthus Bertrand & Paris Mint

FRANCE: WW2 Commemorative medal for 
Deportation and Internment for political 
reasons, during the German Occupation of 
France.  
On ribbon for internees, with the respective 
clasp for internees.
The medal was established in 1948. It was 
only awarded to holders of the Deportation or 
Political Internment Card.
After a posterior amendment (1955), the same 
medal could also be awarded for Deportation 
and Internment during WW1.
Hallmarked: Bronze by the Paris Mint, maker 
marked: MAB (Artus Bertrand, Paris).
