France WWII Medal of a Liberated France

FRANCE: WW2 Medal of a Liberated France 
or Medal of Gratitude to the Liberators of 
France.
The medal was instituted in 1947 and was 
awarded to the returning Free French and 
Allied forces who had significant contribution 
to the Liberation of the Country  following the 
Landing in Normandy, in 1944.
The last award was recorded in July 1957.
