the German Imperial Crown.
Left and right of the clock holder there are 2 oak
leaves.
On the lower part, the regimental insignia of the
32nd Infantry Regiment.
The clock holder is made of rifle cartridges and
bullets.
Given the portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm I (who died
in 1888), the clock holder is most likely related
to the Franco–Prussian War of 1870.
