Germany Prussia Medal of the Royal Order of the Crown 1888

IMPERIAL GERMANY - Prussia: Medal of the 
Royal Order of the Crown. 
The Order was founded in 1861 but the medal 
was instituted in 1888. 
It was an entry award to the Order mainly for 
members of the Royal Household. Since 1889 
it was also awarded to foreign citizens.
This is an early example in bronze gilt (since 
1916, the medal was produced in gilt zinc). 
Diameter: 25mm.
The medal was discontinued in 1918.
