bar. From left to right:
- Prussian, Iron Cross 2nd Class (1914). Superb
quality and patina.
The maker is not visible as it is covered by the
ribbon
- Kingdom of Saxony, Royal Saxon Order of
Albrecht (Albert the Bold), Knight's Cross 2nd
Class with Swords - 2nd type.
The Order was established in 1850 and after 1866,
following the Austro-Prussian War (German Civil
War), the Order was awarded to civilian and
military personnel for Merit in War.
Maker marked "S": Scharfenberg, Dresden. Silver
gilt construction.
This is the 2nd type of the Cross (1910 - 1918).
The Order was discontinued following the fall of
the Monarchy and the establishment of the
Weimar Republic, after the end of WW1, in 1918.
A fine example.
