Imperial Germany: Original WW1 group photo 
featuring a squad of the 5th Infantry Regiment, 
as indicated by the visible regimental number 
“5” on several men's shoulder boards.
At least two NCOs (Unteroffiziere) are visible, 
identifiable by the silver braid (Tresse) on their 
collar and shoulder straps.
The man far right in a long overcoat may be 
from a support unit or depot staff.
