Imperial Germany: Original WW1 Studio portrait
of two German NCOs from the same infantry
regiment - most likely brothers.
The man on the right wears the senior NCO rank
(likely Feldwebel - Master Sergeant), marked by
the collar button and the knot of the port-epee,
while the man on the left is likely an Unteroffizier
(Sergeant).
Both men wear regulation field-grey M1907/10
uniforms with white piping, indicating service
in a line infantry unit.
Written and postmarked on the reverse (mark
illegible).
Postcard format, 14 x 9 cm.
