Commemorative War Cross.
The Cross was instituted after the end of WW1 
by the Prussian Veteran Association.
With the inscriptions "Preussens Tapferen 
Kriegern" (To Prussia's Brave Warriors"), 
"Welt Krieg 1914 1918 (World War 1914 1918) 
and "Preussisches Kriegs Erinnerungs 
Kreuz" (Prussian Commemorative War 
Cross). 
This is an unofficial award of the period of 
the Weimar Republic and just like the 
majority of such awards of the period, it 
had to be privately purchased by the 
recipient. 
The Cross was awarded until 1933.
