Issued in 1910 to mark the 50 years since the
formation of the Regiment, in 1860.
Obverse: Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm and
Princess Victoria, Adolf of Schaumbrun Lippe,
Chiefs of the Regiment during the Years 1864-
1888 .
Reverse: The Prussian Crown.
Signed by F. Hoffstatteer in Bonn.
The Regiment took part in the 2nd Schleswig
Holstein War (1864), the German Civil (1866) and
the Franco-Prussian War of 1870.
During the Great War it participated in the battles
of Namur, St. Quentin, Arras, Verdun, Aisne,
Champagne, Somme, Marne and Chemin des
Dames.
