ITALY: Miniature of the Military medal "Al Valore 
Militare" for Military Valor, bronze class. 
The medal for military valor was instituted in 1833 
by King Carlo Alberto of Sardinia. 
The medal was awarded in this form during the 
period 1877 - 1945 and it is one of the rarest 
Italian military medals.
This is an unnamed example of the WW1 period.
