ITALY: Large bar of 6 Italian WW2 Medals. 
From left to right:
- 3 WW2 Crosses for War Merit all Italian Republic 
issue.
- WW2 Commemorative Medal for the period 1940-
 1943, with 4 clasps (1940, 1941, 1942, 1943) - the 
maximum number of bars available for this medal.
This is the 1st type of the medal, instituted in 1959 
and designed by Bomisa-Aielli. The medal is 
scarcely found with 4 clasps.
- WW2 Commemorative medal for the War of 
Liberation, for the period 1943 - 1945, with 2 
clasps (1944, 1945). 
The medal was instituted in 1959 and it was 
awarded to the Italian forces who served in the 
operations against the German occupational 
army in Italy, after the Italian Capitulation in 1943 
and the fall of the Fascist regime.
- Cross for Long Military Service, XXV (25) years- 
Republic issue.
Instituted in 1953 and issued to both Officers and 
NCOs.
