ITALY: Commemorative medal for the Volunteers 
of the 1935 - 1936 Campaign in East Africa (in 
Abyssinia/Ethiopia against Haile Selassie). 
Despite the brave resistance of the outdated 
local armed forces, the Italians managed, due 
to their superior technology and tactics, to 
conquer the country.
"Molto nemici, molto onore" (A lot of enemies, 
a lot of Honor). 
Note the signature of Mussolini on the reverse 
side!!
