of King Nicholas Reign Commemorative Medal 
(1860-1910). 
Signed by St. Schwarz.
On the obverse: The head of King Nicholas I, 
circumscribed "In Commemoration of the 
Celebrations of Fifty Years Reign 1910"
On the reverse: The crowned cypher of King 
Nicholas, circumscribed "For King and Country". 
Dated "1 Aug. 1860-1910". 
Between the left and the lower arms of the Cross 
the word "Prinz" (Prince). 
The medal was instituted in 1910 to commemorate 
the 50 years of Prince (at the time) and later King, 
Nicholas I reign. 
The respective celebrations took place in Cetinje 
(the Montenegrin capital) and combined not only 
the Golden Jubilee occasion but also the Golden 
Wedding Anniversary of the Royal Couple and 
the proclamation of Prince Nicholas as King of 
Montenegro. 200
