Morocco WWI Royal Order of Ouissam Alaouite Officer's Star 1st Type

Morocco: Officer's Star of the Royal Order 
of Ouissam Alaouite (or Royal Order of Al 
Alaoui), with officer's bar on top of the 
ribbon.
Silver example, hallmarked on the suspender.
The Order was established in 1913 to reward 
both Loyal Services to the Throne of 
Morocco and Military Merit. 
This is the 1st type of the medal with the 
inscription: "There is no other God but Allah 
and Mohamed is His Prophet“. 
This type of the Order was awarded only to 
Muslims.
The inscription was removed after Morocco 
became a French/Spanish Protectorate and 
the Order started to be also awarded to 
Christian recipients (usually French colonial 
troops).
