Netherlands: Silver Medal in the Order of
Orange-Nassau.
In its box of issue by the Dutch Chancellery of
Orders, with the respective ribbon bar.
This is a post WW2 example, marked on the
rim.
The medal comes with its card of issue to a
State Employee (Deputy Chief of Bureau),
dated 1960.
The Order was established by Queen Emma
(Regent for Queen Wilhelmina), in 1892.
It may be awarded to both Dutch citizens and
foreigners for meritorious services to the
Crown or the State.
