Norway: WW2 Freedom Medal, 1940–1945, 
King Haakon VII.
On the obverse: the crowned cypher of King 
Haakon VII over the letter “V” (for Victory), 
inscribed “Alt For Norge” (Everything for 
Norway) and dated “1940-1945”. 
The medal was instituted in 1945 and was 
awarded to both Norwegian and Foreign 
citizens who provided services to Norway 
during WW2.
The medal is very rare.
