Great Britain: WW2 Pacific Star. 
The Pacific Star was instituted in 1945 to be 
awarded to subjects of the British Common-
wealth who served during WW2 in the Pacific 
Ocean Campaign, from 1941 to 1945. 
The medal was also awarded for service 
during certain specified periods in China, 
Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaya, New Guinea, 
Sumatra and several other spots in the 
Pacific.
