Kingdom of Romania: Medal for the Ruby Jubilee 
of King Carol I (40th Anniversary of his enthrone-
ment, initially as Prince (while Romania was under 
the Ottoman rule) and later as King (since the 
Independence of the Country in 1881) of Romania 
in 1866. 
This is a rare version (signed by P. Telge - instead 
of the more common version by Carniol Fiul) of 
the military issue of the medal. 
The military issue as of this example with the 
inscription "In commemoration of the 40 years of 
my Command" is a lot rarer compared to the civil 
one.
