Kingdom of Romania: Military Cross for Loyal 
Service, III class, with Swords. 
Second Type of the medal (1938 - 1947).
The Cross was established in 1906 during the 
celebrations on the occasion of the 40th 
anniversary of King Carol’s appointment as 
Prince of Romania. It was awarded for long 
and faithful service to the Kingdom and the 
Crown of Romania.  
This is the 2nd type of the medal that was 
awarded during WW2 (Reign of King Mihai) to 
both Romanian and Axis troops for military 
services.
