Badge, 1st Class, Gold grade (gilt) for Officers. 
This is the 2nd type of the badge.
The badge was established in this form by King 
Carol II,  in 1930, in 3 classes, and was awarded 
to officers following the successful completion 
of their military training . The badge stopped 
being awarded in 1940, following the abdication 
of King Carol II.
Obverse:  The double "C" cypher of King Carol II, 
the Romanian Eagle and the Coat of Arms of the 
Kingdom of Romania.
