South Vietnam: Chuong My Medal of Merit, II class.
The medal was established in 1955, in 2 classes, to 
be awarded even posthumously to those who 
distinguished themselves by courageous deeds 
and sacrifices, devotion to the service of the 
people, or glorious accomplishments in the 
cultural and socio-economic fields.
Early French made example.
A nice example of a military and civil decoration of 
a country that no longer exists. 
The medal is rare.
