THAILAND: Most Noble Order of the Crown of 
Thailand, Commander's Star, III Class - 1st type. 
The Order was established in 1869, by Rama IV 
(King Mongkut), to reward services to the State 
and the Crown. 
It could be awarded to both Thai (Siamese) 
citizens and foreigners. 
This is a WW1 era example, of the rare 1st type 
of the Order (the design was amended in 1948).
