The 8th Army clasp was awarded to those
who served with the 8th Army between 23
Oct. 1942 and 12 May 1943 (2nd Battle of El
Alamein - capitulation of the German forces
in Africa).
- Italy star
- War Medal 1939-1945
- South African WW2 Africa Service medal.
The Africa Service Medal was instituted in
1943 by King George VI and was awarded
to members of the Union Defense Forces,
the South African Police & the South African
Railways Police. The medal was originally
intended to be awarded for service in Africa,
but it was later extended to cover service
anywhere in the world during WW2. Fewer
than 200.000 medals were awarded in total.

Division.
