French White AC 1915-18 Armored Car.
The inkwell is hidden under the turret.
Typical and representative item of the Interwar period.

The Armored Car is numbered (2029) and marked
"Made in France" & "Depose" (Registered Design)
underneath the chassis.
The first 20 White Armored Cars were produced in
1915 and were initially built based on imported US
chassis by White (Model 1915). During the years
1917 and 1918 France implemented a series of
modification and improvements and produced 200
additional Armored Cars based on locally made
chassis of White (Model 1918).
The type remained in service (mainly in the French
Colonies) until 1943.
