Native Eritrean Battalion Group, for Merit"
Maker marked by Lorioli and Castelli, Milano.
The Italian forces invaded Ethiopia in 1935 
and despite the brave resistance of the local 
armed forces, the Italians managed to conquer 
the country.
The medal is scarce.
