ITALY: Commemorative Medal for the Inauguration 
of the Bersaglieri Monument and the New Building 
of the Historical Museum in Rome. 
Dated 18 Sep. 1932. Signed by Publio Morbiducci.
The Bersaglieri (Marksmen) Regiments were
 Light Infantry, high mobility units, equivalent to 
the “Hunters” units of the other European armies.
The Bersalieri Monument (the bronze statue of a 
Bersalieri soldier, which is presented on the 
medal) was designed also by Morbiducci and 
was built by the architect I. Mancini. 
A rare medal.
